About:

This is an 18-hole course that is lightly contoured and devoid of water holes, but with an over-abundance of trees to challenge both the amateur and the pro. A putting green, driving range and chipping green permits a golfer's practice at leisure, and a snack bar, or half-way house, on the course gives players the opportunity to "cool off" or "stoke up" before continuing their game.

Pull carts and electric golf carts with an inclement weather covering provided when needed, are available for rental, but the use of a cart is not mandatory. The Pro-shop also offers a club cleaning and storage service, and features a large selection of golfing equipment and attire for purchase. Private lessons can be arranged for upon inquiry in the Pro-shop, and group novice lessons for ladies wishing to learn the game are conducted in the spring.

Several club-sponsored tournaments are scheduled each year, including the annual "Men's Member-Guest Invitational", the Women's Golf Association "Fairway Frolics", "Member-Guest", the "Couples' Member-Guest" and the "Men's Fall Invitational"; however, access to the course at a golfer's convenience throughout the active season is rarely a problem.

An active Junior Golf program providing lessons for the children and grandchildren of members offers an excellent way for youngsters to learn a frustrating but enjoyable game that can be played for a lifetime. Special Junior tournaments for various age brackets are held and trophies are awarded, but Juniors may also play the course when available (specified times can be found in the Pro Shop). At the end of the season, Junior golfers attend the Awards Banquet along with the Junior swimmers and Junior tennis players.
