Though you don't have to fill out your user profile in order to register or use the site, just so you know they are ready. We will not be changing around the information any more, though certainly over time we may add additional functionality to the user account page. Today (July 7th, 2007), I am going to be taking down the old profile system and upgrading it to a new system. This is actually a process that will not change much just at the moment, as it is mostly in the background, though the user profiles will not be visible for a short time. No information will be lost and in fact I will be adding some new profile information. The changes will make it so that users may be searched easier and user profiles will be more fluid.
