About:

On this day-trip, visit the site of the first atomic blast in 1945. Walk to Ground Zero, see "Jumbo," and enter the historic McDonald Ranch House. Lunch at New Mexico Tech in Socorro and learn about conventional explosives from their experts. Also visit the acclaimed Gem and Mineral Museum.
